The singer and Lynch collaborator will appear in the new season of Twin Peaks.

David Lynch muse Chrysta Bell is prepping a new EP Somewhere in the Nowhere for fall release with Lynch as producer. After appearing on the Inland Empire soundtrack in 2007, Bell released her first full-length, This Train, with Lynch at the helm. She also contributed to the upcoming book Beyond the Beyond: Music From the Films of David Lynch.

She is also part of the monumental cast of the Twin Peaks reboot which features *deep breath* Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, John Ennis, Sharon Van Etten, Michael Cera, Charlene Yi, Matthew Lillard, Jennifer Jason Leigh… seriously, just read it all here.

Bell is currently working with PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish on her sophomore album which is due out next year and features contributions from Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley and Adrian Utley of Portishead.

Somewhere in the Nowhere is out October 6 and a record release party will be held at Berlin in NYC’s Alphabet City on October 15 (tickets). Listen to first single ‘Beat the Beat’ below.
