Jackie chronicles the life of former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Mica Levi (aka Micachu) has revealed her next major film soundtrack, the score for a biopic about former First Lady of the United States Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

As Pitchfork reports, Jackie stars Natalie Portman in the lead role, and covers her first days as First Lady and life after the assassination of her husband John F. Kennedy. The movie is being helmed by Chilean director Pablo Larraín.

The film also stars Caspar Phillipson as John F. Kennedy and Peter Sarsgaard as his brother Robert. It’s due to premiere at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival in September.

Jackie is Levi’s second major film score after 2014’s Jonathan Glazer-directed Under The Skin. Levi received a BAFTA nomination for her score, which also landed in FACT’s 50 best albums of 2014.

Since scoring Under The Skin, Levi has been busy with other musical projects. As well as 2015’s Micachu & The Shapes album Good Sad Happy Bad, Levi this year released a solo EP for Demdike Stare’s DDS label.
