New details have emerged about Cocoon’s forthcoming London megashow on December 1.

The event will be Cocoon’s first large-scale indoor event in the city, and will take place at the London Pleasure Gardens. Sven Väth, naturally, was already confirmed to headline the bash, but a bunch of major names have also now been added.

Carl Craig and Cassy will both be going back-to-back. The former remains one of the most essential names in Detroit techno; having done the rounds with his 69 moniker in recent months, he’ll be appearing under his own name. The latter, meanwhile, will be capitalising on releases for the likes of Ostgut Ton and Perlon. Cocoon young gun Mathias Kaden will be showcasing his high-energy mixing style, and Turkish minimal head Onur Özer will also be stepping up.

In light of recent events at The London Pleasure Gardens, the event organisers have also issued a statement reassuring revellers about the venue:

“We were hugely saddened for all involved by last weekend’s problems at BLOC. Following in depth discussions with the venue and the agreement that LWE will be involved in all aspects of the event planning, production and site management we are confident to use London Pleasure Gardens for Cocoon – Into The Magic. London Pleasure Gardens is an amazing site, full of potential and with these new provisions in place we’ll have an excellent night. See you all on the dance floor.”

The event will run from 8pm until 6am. Tickets and further information are available from the LWE website.
