Psych-folk singer-songwriter Josephine Foster has announced her first LP since 2010’s collaboration with the Victor Herrero Band, Anda Jaleo.

Blood Rushing is being described as Foster’s first “proper” solo album after a series of collaborations and themed releases. The album was recorded in Foster’s native Colorado by Andrija Tokic of Alabama Shakes, with appearances from Herrero, Paz Lenchantin (of The Entrance Band), Heather Trost (of A Hawk and a Hacksaw) and Ben Trimble (of Fly Golden Eagle).

The record will be released on Fire Records, Foster’s home since 2009‘s Graphic As A Star, on September 17. In the meantime, you can stream and download the proclamatory ‘Child Of God’, taken from the album, below.
