Amazon’s grip on the vinyl market continues to close with its latest giveaway.

Having already opened its freshly designed online record store with a 13-day vinyl giveaway, Amazon is giving its customers another chance to grab themselves some wax in the run up to Christmas.

The online retailer will be giving away a record every 30 minutes on December 15 from 9am to 10pm PT (12pm to 1am ET), offering albums from Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and more.

You don’t need to buy anything for a chance to win – just submit your details – but the promotion is only open to users of Amazon’s US site. If you don’t have a turntable, Amazon is even giving away one of those too.

Amazon isn’t alone in its push to corner the vinyl market – UK retailer Tesco recently announced it will be selling records amongst the groceries. [via The Vinyl Factory]
