Detroit rapper takes a moment with his fans.

Danny Brown has hinted on Twitter that his new album is underway and possibly coming this year. Back in September, Brown and Tyler, The Creator streamed themselves playing GTA V on Twitch, so when a fan asked yesterday if he’d do it again, Brown replied he would when the time came to promote his new album.

He then let fans know that his favourite albums of 2015 were Sufjan Stevens’ Carrie & Lowell – which makes him “tear up every now and then makes me think about my parents” – and Natalie Prass’ self-titled release.

After this the conversation moved on to Brown’s favourite albums by specific rappers. These include Kanye West’s Late Registration and Yeezus, Kendrick Lamar’s Section 80, and I Came From Nothing 2 by Young Thug, among others.

Back in 2014, we asked Brown to divulge his favourite record on FACT TV: Korn’s Issues. [via Pitchfork]
