A dedicated Daft Punk page on the Lollapalooza website has fuelled rumours of a forthcoming tour.

Daft Punk are rumoured to be returning to tour for the first time in a decade after a Reddit user discovered a dedicated Daft Punk page on the Lollapalooza website.

The discovery was made two days ago but the page was built in February, which would suggest that Daft Punk were booked then to play the Chicago festival in August 2017. The pair, who recently appeared on The Weeknd’s new track ‘Starboy’, played a one-off show in Baltimore in 2008 and performed at the Grammys in 2014, but haven’t been on tour since 2007.

Daft Punk have played live every 10 years, with their previous tour taking place in 1997. They have been tipped for a headline spot at next year’s Glastonbury, having played their first – and only – performance at the festival 20 years ago.

FACT has reached out to Daft Punk for comment.
