Hear her take on a Sinatra classic now.

Diamanda Galás, the iconic experimental artist and avant-garde soprano, has announced a two new albums due this spring.

The releases include All The Way, a collection of traditional and jazz standards reworked in Galás’ unique style, and In Concert at Saint Thomas The Apostle Harlem, a live album recorded during Red Bull Music Academy’s New York festival last year. They are Galás’ first new releases since 2008’s live album Guilty Guilty Guilty.

For an idea of how much Galás can transform a traditional, you can hear a pair of songs from All The Way: the title track, best remembered for its version by Frank Sinatra and a take on the traditional folk song ‘O Death’.

Listen to both below and look for both of Galás’ new albums March 24.
