Get ready to return to the Upside Down.

The first trailer for the second season of Netflix smash Stranger Things has been released.

Shown during the Super Bowl on February 5, it follows a brief teaser last year that appeared to reveal the episode titles for season two. The full show will arrive on Netflix this Halloween.

The first image, released on February 4 via Entertainment Weekly, showed Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) dressed as Ghostbusters while trick or treating. The second season takes place in 1984, one year after the events of the first.

Last month, David Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper, revealed a few other second season plot points, saying that it will pick up the story of Will Byers, who was rescued from the Upside Down at the end of season one.

“There are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened. So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what,” he said.

The Goonies actor Sean Astin will also join the cast as the new boyfriend of Winona Ryder’s character Joyce Byers, which introduces a new love triangle to the show.

Aliens actor Paul Reiser will also join the show, with co-creator Matt Duffer saying last year that the second season is intended to be a “blockbuster sequel” in the vein of James Cameron’s sci-fi classic.

I think one of the reasons his sequels are as successful as they are is he makes them feel very different without losing what we loved about the original,” he said.
