If you’ve been reading FACT lately, you probably know about our massive crush on Cold Cave, Wesley Eisold (of Give Up The Ghost/American Nightmare fame)’s gothic synth-pop project.

For proof, check our review of their debut album, Love Comes Close.Originally released on Eisold’s own Heartworm label, it will be reissued on Matador this November, and comes preceded by a new four-track EP, cannily titled Death Comes Close. It leads with the album’s title track, and sports three new tracks of Cold Cave material. Even better, it comes on vinyl, limited to 1,000 copies.

November’s a busy time for Cold Cave: they’ll also be touring the UK with a live set up that features Hospital Productions boss Prurient and ex-Xui Xui girl Caralee McElroy. For the full list of dates, read our news story on the tour.
