Roska is, officially, hot property.

Since the slew of EPs that had us and more raving about the UK Funky producer in 2008, he’s gone from strength to strength, touring America, and this month releasing his debut album, Roska on Rinse FM’s label. If you go down to Norwood on a Sunday afternoon, you’re at least 60/40 in favour of hearing local kids shout “Roska, Roska, Roska” in tribute to their hero. By our calculations, come the second album he’ll be huge enough to turn on the Christmas lights on Oxford St.

Pretty soon he’ll be releasing an EP by fellow Funky house upstart DJ Naughty on his Roska Kicks & Snares label; you can download Roska’s mix of Naughty’s ‘Quicktime’ below.
