Three new albums are out this month on Strange Life, Danny ‘Legowelt’ Wolfers’ Hague-based repository for spooky electronic music made by himself and his associates.

The CD-only releases are by Christian Gleinser, Polysick and Count Hemmendorff, and each boast wonderful cover-art by (we think) Molly Kongshuttle.

Friedrichshaven-hailing Christian Gleinser delivers Electric Winter, a seven-track collection of “cold yet woolly German folk electronics”, while Polysick’s ‘Meteo’ is billed as “crazy eccentric acid weirdness”. Count Hemmendorf’s Castle Hemendorff is passed off – with tongue in cheek – as an archival find of “Transylvanian psycho-freejazz, remastered on Transylvania’s only Fairchild super-compressor for superior audio experience.” We take the Count to be Wolfers in disguise, though the album does in parts remind us of Karl Lindh’s 2005 Strange Life offering, Bortom’s E4 Horrisont.
