Details are scarce at this stage, but the Ghost Box label has revealed that it is about to embark on a series of 7″ and download single releases.

Provisionally titled the Study Series, this sequence of records will feature new material from Ghost Box artists and special guests. Contributions are due from Mordant Music, Moon Wiring Club, Hong Kong in the 60s, Seeland and Broadcast’s James Cargill and Trish Keenan. The first two singles are due towards the end of June.

Readers may also be interested to know that Ghost Box co-founders Jim Jupp and Julian House will be participating in a discussion panel on June 5 with John Foxx and author Iain Sinclair. According to Ghost Box, this Moving Through Old Day Light seminar “will be illustrated with film and sets out to explore the overlap between the panel members’ work”. It’s set to take place at 4.30pm in the Roundhouse’s Studio Theatre, London; more info and tickets are available here. It’s part of Short Circuit’s larger John Foxx event, which culminates that evening with a live performance in the main Roundhouse space from the electronic pop pioneer.
