Austin’s Dubbel Dutch is someone we’ve been seriously into this year at FACT.

A New York native who now calls Texas home, Marc Glasser (a far better real name than most) has released two EPs this year on NYC label Palms Out Sounds, the better of which, Throwback, has been caned by the likes of Sinden and the Night Slugs crew. You know when it seems like every time you’re taken by a track on a mix, and you check the tracklisting it’s by the same guy? Well that’s what us and Dubbel Dutch had going on earlier this year.

This is an unreleased remix of Planet Mu artist Parson. In Dutch’s own words, “I made [it] specifically for the Austin edition of the XLR8R City Guide podcast series. Parson offered up some remix stems for one of his unreleased tracks. I took the O.G. chopped ‘n’ screwed vocals, added some rave stabs, swirling subs and jittery percussion. It’s been getting passed around dubplate only but I’ve decided to set it free.”

That jittery line is a major understatement, by the way.
