Spiritualized are currently recording a new album for release through Double Six Recordings in Autumn.

Double Six is a sub-label of Domino, and home to the likes of Jon Hopkins, Steve Mason and She & Him. Spiritualized’s last album, Songs In A&E, came out via Sanctuary, part of the Universal group.

The news arrives with the announcement of a Spiritualized live show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 11 October. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, 11 March.

Spiritualized and the RAH have history: their incendiary gig at the prestigious venue following the release of Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space was captured on the live double-album Royal Albert Hall October 10 1997.
