Jonny Mugwump’s Exotic Pylon nights are among the capital’s most unmissable, affording the punters the opportunity to catch the likes of Shackleton, Raime, Moon Wiring Club and Mordant Music in the intimate environs of Dalton’s Vortex jazz club.

The next edition, taking place this Friday, 15 April, looks set to be another classy affair. Punch Drunk boss and by arguably dubstep’s most consistently brilliant producer, Peverelist will play one of his typically hypnotic DJ sets, setting the scene for live performances from Outpost 13 (a new project from Stuart Argabright, of seminal post-punk minimalists Ike Yard), advanced UK beatmakers RockerNumberNine and the Exotic Pylon Sinfonia.
