We Fear Silence’s May programme of events at Cable in London is looking pretty tidy.

Chew The Fat close out April with continued exploration of the dubstep fall-out on the 30th. Joker headlines with a DJ set, perhaps playing selections from the album we’ve been waiting three years for, while Baobinga brings the elasticated UK funky, Addison Groove the juke-inspired house and techno and Pangaea, well, all that’s good in rough-hewn soundsystem music (we’re still playing his FACT mix on a virtually daily basis, aren’t you?).

Saturday 7 May’s party is hosted by Sunday Best. In the main room bossman Rob Da Bank is joined by special guests Photek, Actress (both performing live) and Bullion, while your very own FACT curates room two with a line-up of deadly new talent: Ossie, Champion and FACT DJs.

Junglism rules on May 21, with Metalheadz at the controls. Goldie and Marcus Intalex play b2b in Room 1, an intriguing proposition to say the least, while Fabio and Grooverider team up for a b2b Blue Note set, resurrecting the sounds of the legendary Hoxton club. Neighbourhood take care of Room 2, with deep techno and electronics from Sigha b2b Shifted and Braiden, and pure party vibes from Oneman and Tasha.

Hip-hop doesn’t get much of a look-in in underground clubland in 2011, an injustice Livin’ Proof are looking to address with their bash on Saturday 28 May. They’ve secured the services of the mighty Ali Shaheed Muhammed (A Tribe Called Quest), with support from their own crack team of resident DJs: Rags, Snips, Khalil & Budgie.

More information and tickets for all of the above events can be found here.
