The South London trio released their first 12″ on Black Acre back in 2010. Now, they’re returning to the label for a fresh four-track EP.

Black Rainbows will be Dark Sky’s first release since 2011’s Radius EP on 50Weapons. As that title suggests, it’s a noirish set, albeit with plenty of colourful percussion work to offset the darker elements of their sound. Their brooding, sinewy productions have previously seen release on Blunted Robots and Ninja Tune.

Black Rainbows will be released on March 26 through Black Acre. ‘Zoom’, a track from the record, is available to stream below. Dark Sky are also appearing at XOYO this evening.
