The first album on Disfigured Dubz, the label run by dubstep poster boy Skream, will release its first album this Summer.

The LP comes from Echo Park, an artist who debuted on the label last year with the well-received ‘Fiber Optic’ single. It’s titled Can’t Help It, and according to a brief description on Echo Park’s Soundcloud, arrives “two years in the making, with tunes recorded in four different countries”, and “aims to be a modern prototype for further directions in future r&b and soul music”.

A bold claim, sure, but listening to the teaser on Soundcloud, which features snippets of tracks ‘Go’, ‘Stop Before We Start’, ‘Cutlass Supreme’, ‘Give It Up’ and the album’s title track, this thing sounds really promising. Fans of the modern funk and boogie explorations of Krystal Klear, Redinho etc should be excited.

You can stream the teaser below.
