New Talent South London Ordnance has excelled himself on his latest release.

‘Trojan’ continues the trend seen on recent Soundcloud cut ‘Transmission Funk’ towards punchier and tougher compositions. The eerie atmospherics of SLO’s best work are still discernable, but there’s a hitherto unseen muscularity on display. If anything, the stabbing organ chords and sternum-shaking bass bring Joy O’s exercises in dancefloor fission to mind. The video, available to stream exclusively below, is from the Lana Del Rey school of vintage collage, although the psychotropic colouring and madcap saturation makes for a much trippier watch.

‘Trojan’ is out soon on 12″ through Well Rounded Records, backed by ‘Pacific’.
