Wisconsinite songwriter Bon Iver has announced a remix competition for his doubly self-titled sophomore album, Bon Iver, Bon Iver.

The Bon Iver, Bon Iver: Stems Project will enable fans to get their hands on the constituent parts of all ten tracks on the album – including some parts which didn’t make the proper release.

Each song will have its own competition, with entries subjected to a public vote before the man himself makes the final call. Winners will earn a place on an official remix album, which will be made available through Spotify, as well as a $1,000 cash prize.

To get your hands on the stems, head here and create an account with music-based social networking site Indaba Music. Prospective entrants then have until August 29  to upload their remixes for public consideration. Further info on the competition can be found here.
