Ghostly International shares free compilation in advance of art symposium Of Art and Artifice

Ann Arbor, Michigan’s Ghostly International has grown from a boutique record label to a multi-media art curator.

This week, New York’s Art Directors Club will focus on Ghostly for four days of “sound, art and inspiration.” The gathering will celebrate both music (Ghostly’s roster includes Matthew Dear and Dabrye, among others) and art: in 2010, Ghostly launched an “art label” called Ghostly International Editions, which has developed into a collective of some of North America’s best designers and artists.

To mark the occasion, Incase and Ghostly present Of Art And Artifice: A Ghostly International Exhibition, a free 12-track compilation featuring the label’s avant garde lineup, featuring new and unreleased songs by artists as diverse as Dear, Com Truise, Shigeto, Gold Panda, and Tycho.

Download the set via Incase, or stream it below. A video about the conference follows.
