Talib Kweli to appear on Peter Andre's next album

Either someone’s short of change, or Kweli’s camp made a huge mistake clearing this one.

On October 29, Peter Andre – the man you may know best for his ’90s Summer hit ‘Mysterious Girl’, his ’00s isolationist mantra ‘Insania’ (penned while stuck in the jungle on reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here), his car-crash marriage to glamour model Jordan or simply his various appearances since on chat shows and in the columns of any weekly glossy desperate enough to pay him for his time – will release his ninth (ninth!) studio album, Angels & Demons. Along with a title track penned by late Bee Gee Robin Gibb and a spot from So Solid Crew’s Lisa Maffia, the tracklist reveals a surprise cameo: hip-hop legend Talib Kweli.

According to Music Week News, Angels & Demons features Kweli on a song entitled ‘Fly Away.’ It’s not clear how this collaboration came about, but our morbid curiosity has been piqued.

The rapper recently teamed up with Z-Trip for the Attack the Block mixtape. He will release the Prisoner of Conscious LP on November 20, featuring Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y, Miguel, and Busta Rhymes — but alas, no failed pop stars that we know of.
