Steven ‘Heatsick’ Warwick’s low-budget house fantasia ‘Dream Tennis’ has been remixed by a charmed selection of artists.

Warwick’s been knocking out cassettes as Heatsick since 2007, but it was his 2011 ‘Dream Tennis’ 12″ for Cocktail d’Amore that brought his Casiophilic project to wider attention. Backed with an inspired remix from Prins Thomas, it offered many a memorable introduction to Warwick’s gimcrack take on tropical house, perfected on his fine Deviation 12″ for PAN.

Cocktail d’Amore are to celebrate that canny A&R move with a new disc of ‘Dream Tennis’ remixes. Acid freak/Gamesmaster Legowelt will take the lead with his ‘W30 Palm Springs Pawn Shop’ remix of the track. L.I.E.S. alumnus Willie Burns (recently responsible for some great work as Black Deer on No ‘Label’) also contributes a crawling house remix, and ESP Institute regular Young Marco offers a dubby new take. Berlin-based unknown quantity CLIMA round out the collection. [via Juno Plus]

Dream Tennis – The Remixes is due on 12″ on January 30.
