Hear clips from Atoms For Peace's AMOK, plus Thom Yorke interview

Thom Yorke and his not-so-merry band of travellers tease AMOK in a 30 minute special for NPR

In an interview recorded before their MOMA DJ performance last Summer, Yorke, Nigel Godrich and Joey Waronker sat down with NPR’s All Songs Considered to discuss the forthcoming debut LP from Atoms For Peace. The genesis of the project, the joys of DJing and Flea’s role as “arch-jammeister” are all up for discussion. Perhaps more enticingly, the recording features snippets of AMOK album tracks, complete with live commentary from the band members. Click below to listen.

AMOK is due on February 25 through XL. FACT chatted to Yorke and Godrich about the LP earlier in the week; the results can be read here.
