James Blake has announced a short run of UK shows in Spring 2013.

The mild-mannered troubadour will play a handful of UK shows in April. From April 9-11, Blake will toast his new LP with stop-offs at London’s Heaven, Manchester’s Academy 2 and Glasgow’s The Arches. The dates follow a sold-out show at London’s ICA on February 26.

Blake’s sophomore album Overgrown will arrive on April 8 on Republic. Press materials vaguely promise that the album will see Blake returning to the “brain melting electronic perfection” of his early releases, “moving way beyond any post-dubstep pigeonholes to include stunning reinterpretations of both hip-hop and house.”
