It looks like Jay-Z has released the venues for his forthcoming stadium tour with Justin Timberlake.

The pair, who collaborated on one of the year’s biggest hits so far in Timberlake’s ‘Suit & Tie’, going on tour has been one of the music world’s worst-kept secrets since Timberlake alluded to it earlier this month. The New York Post and others have reported it as a stadium tour of North America, and a series of pictures posted to Jay-Z’s Life & Times blog now appears to confirm this.

In vaguely cryptic fashion, Life & Times has uploaded sepia photos of 12 stadiums across North America, each tagged with the strapline Legends of the Summer. None of them are accompanied by dates at this point, but we’d expect those details to emerge sooner rather than later. UK fans, we know there’s no Wembley (or even a Stadium of Light) on this list, but never fear: Timberlake and Jay-Z have been announced as headliners at this year’s Wireless Festival, though granted, on separate nights. Let’s hope Timberlake can stay til Saturday, because we all know that Hov’s more fun with a partner in tow.

Canada’s Exclaim lists the Summer stadiums as follows: Update: Dates and venues are below, as per Timberlake’s website. All dates go on sale to the public on February 28, except New York. New York sale info will be announced soon.
