After dropping one of last year’s best albums, you’d think Detroit legend Terrence Dixon would be content to rest on his laurels.

That doesn’t seem to be the case, as details have emerged on XLR8R that he is readying the Giant Robot EP under the Population One alias, and it’s set to drop in April on the Monique Musique imprint. We might not have heard even a beat yet, but the fact that Actress has been roped in for remix duties is enough to get our pulses racing.

It’s not the first time the two artists have been mentioned in the same sentence before, and we’re sure Cunningham will make sure his contribution is top notch, with Dixon being one of his primary inspirations and all. Faded techno fans rejoice.
