As promised, New Jersey’s preeminent cut-up merchant took to the controls for this Saturday’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

The two-hour session is 90% Edwards originals and edits, and it’s stuffed to the brim with exclusives and eyebrow-raisers. Particularly notable are exclusive takes on Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’/’Something About Us’, Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’ and a host of Giorgio Moroder originals. Other recipients of the Edwards touch include David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’, My Morning Jacket’s ‘Big Love’, LOL Boys’ ‘Changes’, Disclosure’s ‘White Noise’ and Jessie Ware’s ‘No To Love’.
