US party-starters Body High are on fine form right now.
The duo of Jerome LOL and Samo Sound Boy push a form of dance music that’s just indebted enough to the house masters of old without seeming overly reverent, with recent releases coming from MYRRYRS and Newbody.
On Thursday July 25, Samo Sound Boy will be performing at Olmeca Altos Tequila’s upcoming event at San Francisco’s Public Works, with Joaquin Bartra and MYRRYRS also on the bill. For more information, head to the Olmeca Altos Tequila Facebook page.
As well as this, Body High will be touring the US in October. The tour takes place across three weekends and three different cities, opening on October 3 Miami and closing on October 19 in San Diego. Each weekend sees Samo Sound Boy and Jerome LOL share the bill with an American dance veteran – that’s Juan Atkins the first weekend, DJ Pierre the second, and Anthony Shakir the third.
