Feeling ropey.

After cancelling two US tours due to illness, noise-pop experimenters Animal Collective have had another attempt at scheduling dates across the country, starting in early September in Portland.

As a sweetener the band have also shared the video for ‘Monkey Riches’, a track from their recent LP Centipede Hz. The Jack Kubizine-directed promo features a bearded rope-charmer (the cruelty-free version of a snake-charmer, we guess) and an alternate universe populated by trippy rope monsters. [via CoS]

The band will take part in the inaugural Cassette Store Day this September by releasing Sung Tongs on tape.
