The Black Hippy rapper — or rather, his adorable daughter — shares the release date.

Schoolboy Q will release his long-delayed debut album Oxymoron on February 25. As far as drip feed announcements go, enlisting his daughter Joy for the teaser (below) was a good move.

One of FACT’s rappers to watch in 2013, Schoolboy Q had his share of memorable moments this year — including the Kendrick Lamar-featuring ‘Collard Greens’ — but hasn’t released a full-length effort since last year’s Habits and Contradictions.

Earlier this year, the rapper blamed the album’s delay on “complete assholes” who were holding up the sample clearance process.
