The smokey siren readies her first effort for TDE.

Save a few tracks, Solana SZA Rowe has mostly kept quiet since linking up with Top Dawg Entertainment (home to Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q et al) last year.

Thankfully, it looks like the off-kilter vocalist will release her next EP next month, and the first cut is in impressive one. ‘Babylon’ finds SZA heart-heavy and lovelorn over a left-field rap-R&B-club hybrid produced by ‘Money Trees’ / ‘Worst Behavior’ scribe DJ Dahi; it wouldn’t sound out of place on Night Slugs.
