The Sacramento MC/producer readies his Thyluxe album.

Tynethys first came to our attention with last year’s collaborative mixtape with über-prolific duo Main Attrakionz. Next month, the rapper/producer will release Thyluxe, a mostly self-produced effort that also features contemporaries FRIENDZONE.

‘Hiyah’ provides the first glimpse of Thyluxe: a noisy, post-Yeezus approach to Tynethys’ cloud rap sound that grounds his kung fu and TV references in something industrial and glitched-out. In addition to his solo work, Tynethys has also produced tracks for FACT TV featuree Issue on Liquid Wisdom.
