The Bug collects Angels & Devils outtakes on Exit EP, expands tour; listen to 'Black Wasp'

Kevin Martin shares some outtakes and alternate versions from the mammoth Angels & Devils sessions.

In creating Angels & Devils, The Bug and his collaborators came up with more than 160 demos and versions before whittling the set down into the 12-track album. With that in mind, Ninja Tune will release the Exit EP on October 7.

The EP features two takes on album opener ‘Void’, one with Grouper’s Liz Harris and one a spacey, dubbed-out instrumental version. There are also two versions of offcut ‘Black Wasp’ (again, one with Harris and one instrumental), while “Devils”-themed second disc includes album standout ‘Function’ and ‘Blaow’ (featuring ragga legend Daddy Freddy).
