The Brooklyn-via-Toronto DJ/producer returns to one of New York’s finest labels.

Aquarian emerged in 2012 with Obsidian, an EP that forged together techno, acid and vintage rave into a snarling mass; last year’s ‘Fan Death’ added footwork and grime to the equation.

The DJ/producer will continue to bridge the dancefloor traditions of London, New York and Detroit on his self-titled EP, due out on October 21 via UNO NYC. Aquarian combines four cuts of meticulously crafted yet unrelentingly intense techno, with touches of breakbeats, acid and electro; the EP is rounded out by a remix by Throwing Snow.

Lead cut ‘SOMA’ is a rave-ready taste of the EP, and director Loris Lamuniere has used the video to explore corporeal chaos at the cellular level. Watch it below; the cover art and tracklist follow.
