'Peep This' irresistible collaboration from Funkadelic and Soul Clap

Cross-generational funk for your soul.

Following a year of groundwork, Soul Clap flew Parliament/Funkadelic leader George Clinton to Miami’s Red Bull Studios in May of last year for a three day recording session. The session proved to be fruitful, with two tracks (‘First Ya Gotta Shake The Gate’ and ‘In Da Kar’) included on the upcoming Funkadelic album.

Soul Clap Records will simultaneously release two ‘EFUNK’ remixes of the collaborations along with ‘Peep This,’ a bonus cut from the recording session. ‘Peep This’ features P-Funk engineer G Koop on bass and is produced by Nick Monaco.

Speaking to Gilles Peterson, Soul Clap said of the collaborations, “we’re so honoured to officially release these dancefloor funk jams to the world. Getting Clinton’s blessing and musical participation has legitimized our EFUNK movement and opened a new chapter in the Soul Clap’s sound.”
