An intense second teaser for the film highlights the group’s success and controversy.

A second trailer has emerged for upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. The first trailer premiered back in February, featuring Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and a cameo from Kendrick Lamar.

The new trailer shows Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins) and the late Eazy-E (Jason Mitchell) recording their iconic debut album, released in 1988.

The film, which has been directed by F. Gary Gray, will be released on August 14.
