Honey Owens’ first album in seven years will be out this spring on Kranky.

Honey Owens has been making music for years, but we haven’t heard anything from her psych-folk project Valet since 2008’s Naked Acid. That’s mainly because she’d been focused on her house project Miracles Club, but now Owens has returned to her original moniker for a new album due May 25 through Kranky.

The result is Nature, a record that that expands Valet’s intimate sound with clouds of distorted guitar and ethereal, yet strikingly emotive vocals. Now you can stream the title track which has vocals that conjure up Broadcast‘s dreamier moments and guitar work that will remind you why shoegaze was so great to begin with. Listen below.
