The Twin Peaks cast are actually begging David Lynch to return to reboot

By , Apr 8 2015

Earlier this week it emerged that David Lynch had walked out on the planned reboot of Twin Peaks.

The director confirmed on Twitter that after over a year of negotiations he was walking away because the Showtime network couldn’t guarantee a budget to produce the script as “it needed to be done.”

However, most of the show’s original cast, including Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer) and Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne) have put together a video pleading for the director’s return to the project, all posing the question: “Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like…?”

You can watch the whole thing above, and yes, it even features the Log Lady (though unfortunately without a log). If this doesn’t get Lynch back on board, don’t fret – there’s always Empire to look forward to. [via Dazed]
