Tidal continues to fight Spotify’s dominance.

Understanding that the hassle of losing all your carefully curated playlists might be making it more difficult to switch from Spotify, Jay Z’s Tidal service has announced a new partnership that might make things a little easier.

Tidal has teamed up with Soundiiz, a website that automatically transfers playlists from one music app to another. You simply connect, then drag and drop your Spotify playlists to the Tidal box. It can also transfer playlists from SoundCloud, Xbox Music, Rdio, and iTunes.

Though Jay Z might still have a way to go to convince people to commit to a Tidal subscription, this and the announcement of the new Rising service to highlight emerging artists might help. [via The Verge]
