Music critics have drawn parallels between punk rock and grime ever since the latter was born. 

UK punk duo Slaves have proclaimed their love for grime in the past, and took that one step further today by covering Skepta’s ‘Shutdown’ in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
