Later this month Jared Blum will release The Chosen Themes: Program I the first of two volumes containing his work under the Vision Heat moniker. Though he speaks with the language of decayed VHS tapes and vintage 80s synthesizer soundtracks, Vision Heat’s music feels especially satisfying thanks to Blum’s impeccable compositional skill and ear for timbre. All of that gets shown off on the trio of tracks the label has shared with the announcement.
