In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Joy Division’s best-known song, ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’, the band will be re-releasing their entire catalog on vinyl.

While it’s not impossible to snag copies of Joy Division’s seminal albums – Unknown Pleasures, Closer, and Still plus compilation Substance – these deluxe 180g reissues are still worth a look, mostly thanks to the wealth of bonus material.

Substance has been expanded, and will contain two bonus tracks (‘As You Said’ and the Pennine version of ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’), and the audio was remastered back in 2010. This is the first time this version will have been available on vinyl, so collectors take note. It’s worth noting that the editions of Still and Substance will be in proper gatefold sleeves, too.

The reissues of Unknown Pleasures and Closer are due to be released on June 29, with Substance and Still on July 24. You can here the rare Pennine version of ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ below. [via Consequence of Sound]
