The Touch returns with an updated design and claim to be 10 times faster.

Though Apple did the unspeakable by killing off the iPod classic last year, it looks like the Touch has been given a second life. Similar to the iPhone, the Touch does much of the same while scrapping call capabilities, but now it’s been updated to the current generation’s design.

Some of the upgrades include the new A8 chip, which the company claims is 10 times faster than the last generation’s, a 4-inch retina display, and an M8 motion coprocessor dedicated to sensing movement. It also comes with an 8-megapixel iSight camera and an improved HD Facetime camera (in other words — better selfies).

The new Touches come in 16GB ($199), 32GB ($249), 64GB ($299), and 128GB ($399) capacity and they’re available now.
