Healing music fresh from the Canadian Riviera.

Vancouver’s Mood Hut label will release a new EP from Ian Wyatt’s Slow Riffs alias next month.

Otherwise known as Local Artist, Wyatt has previously delivered EPs for Rhythm Section International and Proibito under the name. Wyatt is also a member of the No Gold trio, alongside Pender Street Steppers’ Jack Jutson and Liam Butler.

Wyatt’s only previous appearance under the Slow Riffs moniker was on a cassette release on Mood Hut back in 2013. Like that tape, the forthcoming 12″ is a predominantly ambient affair, described by the label as “for healing use only.”

There’s no release date yet, but Mood Hut plan to deliver the Gong Bath / Virgo Dub / Peace Arch EP soon. You can preview all three tracks below. [via RA]
