UMHS enlist a Chicago veteran for their next release.

Low-key London label UntilMyHeartStops have been delivering top-drawer dark and subtle dance music for just over three years. In that time, the imprint helmed by Leif and Joe Ellis has released left-field house and techno from artists such as Joey Anderson, Duckett and October.

The label will once again turn their attention toward the US for their next release, calling upon Chicago techno producer Zach Lubin for a new EP. Lubin is a veteran of the Chicago techno scene having delivered an EP for Axis offshoot 6227 in back in 2005. His Future Laboratories EP collects four tracks and is slated to arrive via UntilMyHeartStops in November.

Lubin has also announced the launch of his own imprint, Obvio. Named after the reggae label his father started in 1982, Lubin describes the label as a hub for “future funk sci-fi urban techno and other innovative electronic music.” The label’s first release, Lubin’s own Urban Identity EP, is available now.

Lubin’s Future Laboratories EP will be released via UntilMyHeartStops in early November. Preview the EP below. [via RA]
