The late Joy Division frontman’s kitchen table has resurfaced on eBay.

Two years ago, Ian Curtis kitchen table was listed for auction on eBay.  Members of both Curtis’ family and Joy Division expressed their displeasure at the time. In a statement written to NME back in 2013, Joy Division originals Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris labelled the auction “distateful and upsetting.”

Curtis’ family and former bandmates won’t be happy to find out that the table has been listed on eBay once again, by the same seller. In a description that begins “BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND,” the seller says he’ll use the money to upgrade his own band’s recording equipment. Bidding for the table, which is currently in south-west Scotland, started at £100.

The table could be possibly return to Curtis’ former home in Macclesfield, which is being turned into a Joy Division museum.
