The “techno gone Folkways” album was set to be one of our favourite albums of 2015, except it never came out.

Beset by mysterious delays, Beatrice Dillon & Rupert Clervaux’s Studies I-XVII For Samplers And Percussion (don’t let the bone-dry title put you off) on Snow Dog Records has finally arrived on Boomkat, where you can hear samples.

God knows what’s happened here, but Boomkat warns that “all copies have some creases on the cover!!! If you’re a collector who doesn’t like any imperfections in your record sleeves – steer clear of this one!” Where have they been hiding these babies?!

In the meantime, Dillon’s star has been rising thanks to her regular NTS Radio slot and the excellent ‘Face A/B’ 12″ on Where To Now?, which showed the London musician exploring a different facet of her electronic experiments.
