LA duo Abstrakto have announced their self-titled LP and a 10-track remix album.

The brainchild of Ozomatli’s Asdru Sierra and LA producer, DJ and actor Balt Getty, Abstrakto blend Ozomatli’s Latin fusion with a hip-hop edge in a bilingual melting pot of West Coast styles. Rekindling a creative partnership that has seen Sierra work on Getty’s album Solardrive, the duo are releasing their debut as a limited edition double album, inviting a handful of producers including Vizion, Anthony Valadez and King Dave to create a second disc of remixes.

Their debut was cut in Rick Rubin’s legendary studio and marks the start of a label collaboration between Getty’s Purplehaus label and The Vinyl Factory. Released on limited edition double vinyl gatefold, you can order Abstrakto here.
